Vacation Day 5

Today was another fun-filled day.  The water was the calmest I have EVER seen.  No waves hardly at all.  Makes it fun for some but I'm one that likes to jump in the waves and dive through them.  Oh well, not today.  It was fun for Baby Sister who actually would swim in the Gulf and not worry about her getting taken under!

This was her "You aren't taking a picture of me are you?" face.  Nope, not me.  This was one time I was lucky enough to just chill and lay out while she swam and her Sister napped upstairs, which her Daddy and at least one Grandmother!

After a fun day, Daddy went across the street to pick up some Italian for the Grandmothers and the kids while I showered and got all dressed up.  We took advantage of the extra babysitters and planned a beach date night.  We went to the same exact place as we went on our date last year.  I know, we don't vary much apparently.

We went to a place called Cobalt.  They have some EXCELLENT firecracker shrimp that is HOT.  We brought some back with us for everyone to try.

This was the Hubby's appetizer.  It was good too. Some kind of shrimp.

After we got stuffed at dinner, we rode around and looked at new condos, etc.  I know, the wild life.  Then we ran by the store for a few things.

When we got home, the kids were still awake. My mom looked at me and said, "Why are y'all home so early?"  HAHA.  We like to live on the wild side.

I'll be honest.  It was nice to have some adult conversation and actually eat my phone without someone trying to steal my ice or asking for more Dr. P.  It was quiet and peaceful and enjoyable.  Don't get me wrong, I love my kids but we are so at the point with Baby Sister that you don't go out to eat in public.  She's getting better but she doesn't eat much so she's either trying to steal your ice or get in your lap.  Or distracting her Sister so they can pester each other.

The story of our trip.  Those 2 girls pestered and pestered each other to no end.  But they love and ADORE each other.

Just makes for crazy parents, and grandparents!

Then the next day?  The grandparents left.  I think we were alllll sad.
